This is what I’m about

I’m Andrea.
I’m small; I’m quiet.
I lack power and am helpless.
I’m meek and insignificant;
foolish and incompetent
on my own.

However,

I’ve joyfully given my life,
my whole life… my heart… to
the only Man who I cannot resist.
I am committed to
the only Man man enough
to love me the way I
do. not. deserve.
He is my Joy, my King, my Love.
I am His beloved bride,
love-struck with admiration
and starry-eyed adoration.

In Him, and only by His grace,

I am small. And I do big things.
I am quiet, but I’ve got something
to shout and sing about. And I
make a joyful noise.
I lack power, but He is my strength. And I am
a fierce warrior in this place.
I am helpless, but He is
by my side and He is
moving mountains and shaking the earth to
make way for me.
I am meek and insignificant, but He
set the sun in the sky and He
taught the wind to blow and He
taught the lion to roar, and I
tremble with the fierce and mighty power of this King and
for Him I will fight.
I am foolish and incompetent, but He knows all and
there is nothing that He cannot handle.
He has seen the grave and
it could not handle Him.
He has endured death and
it could not hold Him down.

And with His Spirit, I am not bound by my humanity.
He created me to be heard, to be strong,
to be powerful, to be gentle, to love, because
He. Is. LOVE. And I am here to beautifully reflect Him.

He is why I live. He is why I love. He is why I eat,
I speak, I walk, I see, I teach, I laugh,
I learn, I struggle and I overcome.
He is the reason I write, and He is the reason I
desire to be real and raw with you here
and why I expect the same of you.
I’m Andrea. I aim to lead a meaningful, remarkable life, but
you won’t see all of that here…
